Often at this time of the year a wave cloud will form over the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. It is caused when strong Chinook winds from the west hit the mountains and get pushed up. This causes the moisture to condense into a cloud and form the wave. It appears stationary but is actually continually forming and dissipating in the same spot. Always interesting to see.
