Loading and unloading the bike in my truck so I can get to the clear main roads just takes too much time. Shoveling all the sidewalks is a lot of work, so I made me an outrigger for my bike that lets me traverse the icy ruts without fear of dropping the bike. Once there, I remove two bolts, chain the rig to a road sign and I'm on my way.
