What does "sanoke" mean?
It is a Thai word สนุก
or "SANUK" (I learned it more as san-oak) which means "to
have fun". I was stationed in northeastern Thailand for a year and
a half back in the '70s and how I would best describe it is as follows:
Imagine sitting at a table at a little out door bar that is located
next to a small lake, sitting there drinking a couple of beers with
some friends. It's a beautiful day, just about dusk, the temperature is
just perfect and there is a gentle breeze blowing. The conversation is
very pleasant and life in general is very good. That's "sanoke".
Strive to make each and every day "sanoke".
